Ci sono arrivato per caso, di passaggio per Reggio Emilia. Non scherzo, varrebbe la pena del viaggio (nel mio caso da roma) solo per mangiare i ravioli con il brasato. Cucina ricca, davvero autentica e “generosa”. Ristorante raro!
First a general observation and then the review: try not to visit Reggio Emilia in mid-August because it's basically closed down for Ferragosto. Even though it's a big place, most of the merchants are on vacation and most of the restaurants are closed as well. After walking a long way, we discovered Marconina, and we weren't disappointed. We ordered the Tortelli di Zucca con Soffrito and I ordered Bomba di Riso della Reggiana. We ended with gelato made in-house. As we weren't ravenous, we didn't order any appetizers or a meat dish. This will be for next time!!! The in-house gelato was unbelievably good!!!
Had a great evening. Delicious food and fantastic service, especially from Marco who made us feel very welcome as tourists! Definitely would visit again.
Near the main entrance to the city, quite hidden is this restaurant. I found myself very bad, I tried a couple of bad fish courses (one above all the prawn tartare). There is little or nothing biological... unprofessional service, absolutely ridiculous wine list. Huge price
