The Patty Shack - Redwood City

I am a big fan of Inn and Out. It is the ultimate Southern Cal Burger. (With all due respect to Tommys. This place is not like that. They have at least ten types of burgers. They are the big fat juicy kind of burger that has everything on the side. The B.I.G. is a two patty belly buster with thick cut bacon and cheese. Do not get it unless you are hungry. I do not know how big the patty was but it looked like at least 1/3 of a lb perhaps 1/2 lb. So in spite of loving In and Out, this is a dinner burger I would want. The beer on tap is cold and they have sweet potato fries.

I come here usually after lunch time (2 pm ish) and the service is good. Sometimes it 's not that easy to find parking, and it is metered on Main St. but you can feed the meter coins or a credit card (there ' 's also parking across the street in the City Hall Parking Lot). The lady at the counter always greets with a smile and knows the menu well. I like to order the chicken burger here which comes out juicy, not dry, and comes with sweet potato or regular fries. They have a multiple screen TV and others on the wall, with pour beers on the bar. When I 've been there, there are customers working from their labtops so there is a WiFi connection there. There is an outside eating area and a big bowl of water for your doggie. Prices are good for what you get. If you like a good burger, fries and a shake, this is a good choice. They also have a children 's and sandwich menu. I took a picture of the menu to give you an idea of what they serve.

We come here couple times a month or so to get away. It's our family's go to burger joint /sports bar that's family friendly and makes amazing salads! Something for everyone in the family and your current diet Can't recommend them enough!!

Overall it was a son and very welcoming experience. I went around 3 p.m. so it wasn't too busy. they have at least six giant TVs all over the restaurant and they have a full bar as well as plenty of beers to choose from that are on top and about 6 soda flavors in there. The food was absolutely great. My burger and fries were absolutely great. It wasn't too salty and it was very juicy! If you're visiting from out of the city it may seem a little pricey to you but do the area of course it's going to be a little bit different pricing. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be stopping by again.

Nice laid back spot to watch a game or just hang out and eat some good food. Great customer service, lady at the counter was very patient.Mango habanero wings are a must, great flavor. Nice smoky and tender like they've been on the grill all day. Garlic fries are perfect. Stumbled across this place just wandering thru and will definitely be returning.
