Bidra med feedbackI stumbled upon this place in Redondo Beach. I am a big fan of Spain and have travelled and dined there frequently so I was curious. I found this place to be fairly authentic. I tried the sidra and tortilla de jamon and loved both. The lively atmosphere, super friendly service, and overall vibe are very nice. The prices are ok. Portion was of authentic European dimensions too, but I much rather have less of really good quality food anyway.
We are at A Basq kitchen for our family dinners weekly. The flavors of the Basque region of Spain are captured in every flavor offered by this hidden gem in the King Harbor Marina. Redondo Beach is lucky to have such a unique and cultural culinary experience within its boarders. Every week they have awesome pintxo and dinner specials which make every visit a new experience in flavor. Every time we go we order Mejillones(mussels) with dry aged chorizo and Papas Bravas(crispy potatoes with tomato sauce). If it's your first time you should have a calimotxo, a little pick me up before running with the bulls, red wine mixed with Coca Cola Classic. They have many cultural events, chefs dinners and Brunch! Go here and eat some basque bites!
Delicate, subtle, and most satisfying with a casual and relaxing atmosphere. Traditional Basque restaurants are decently uncommon which makes this place pretty special, especially being located on Redondo Beach Pier. I would be a regular here if I could. Enjoy!
Fun...fun...fun! And the smell of the food alone will drive your senses crazy. They go all out to give ultimate pleasure. So many creative ideas with their 'Sunday Supper Series. ' From doggie contest to Basq family style feast to live entertainment...fun...fun...fun!
Ever since I found out about this place I wanted to give it a try. Came here for my birthday dinner on a Friday night and had the paella. We had to make reservations, order and pay for the paella beforehand. We had tapas before dinner which consisted of papas bravas, pulpo and the tortilla. All which were very tasty, but I think my favorite was the grilled octopus. We also tried the watermelon sangria which was a little sweet, the red sangria (very good), white sangria (very good) and sunset sangria (mixture of red and white). For dinner we had a huge serving of paella
