It is highly advisable to make a reservation in advance to secure a table, but it is definitely worth it. The service is fantastic and the food is incredibly tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant is a hidden gem for locals, away from the tourist area but definitely worth seeking out. The food is plentiful and tasty, and the restaurant is always full of locals, so it's a good idea to make a reservation for Friday and Saturday nights. Takeout is also very popular here. The decor has a traditional Australian Chinese restaurant feel, reminiscent of "Muriel's Wedding." I have visited several times and have always had a fantastic experience.

Went on TripAdvisor reviews and not disappointed. Authentic looking with seperate entrances for takeaway and restaurant. Had 4 courses and very happy with quality and taste. Waiter was attentive and friendly, it was a quiet night but all our meals were well spaced. Plenty of off street parking. The Honey Pork and Satay Beef made the night.

Just had a takeaway the Sweet and Sour pork was all batter and though it out the chicken and cashew was bland and nuts soft fried rice was not fried been there 3 time but never again it was **** for $76.00 buck. Terrible

We were a little daunted by the pricing - but, hey it's Cairns right? It is to be expected. But wow the portion sizes matched the pricing. Really good sizes - 1 main + rice will feed a couple nicely. Really tasty and some of the best Chinese food we have had in ages.Also, we ordered the Steamed Pork Buns for an entree. The waiter came back out from the kitchen and apologised that they had just sold out. Shows that they are not frozen, but made fresh and and only have a certain number of portions. Really good to see. Service was a little slow - but it shows how popular the place is and that food is not "zapped" to get it out faster, but made to order. When we received our order, the wait was forgotten with the first bite of the quality and taste.We will return when we are in the area again.
