Bush Pantry - REDLAND BAY

Palliative Care Queensland often holds community learning sessions at MyHorizon where Tim, the Events Coordinator, and the team at Bush Pantry go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience for moderators and participants. The food, which considers all dietary requirements, is always delicious and of high quality. The staff are friendly and courteous, the venue is quiet, and the Banksia space is efficiently set up for events, taking into account social distancing and COVID restrictions. The venue is beautifully decorated with natural light. We highly recommend MyHorizon and Bush Pantry for their excellent customer service and look forward to returning.

I was excited to have breakfast with my daughter at The Bush Pantry for her first visit. However, I was disappointed with the limited breakfast options on the menu. I ended up ordering the Brekkie Burger as there were no bacon and eggs or Eggs Benny available. Although the burger was tasty, it was served in a somewhat clumsy manner. My vegetarian daughter struggled to find a satisfying dish and ended up choosing the smashed avocado, which turned out to be a letdown. Instead of fresh avocados, she received a subpar version squeezed from a tube. For the price of $15, this was unacceptable. If fresh ingredients are not available, it would be better to inform customers beforehand. Overall, our experience was disappointing and we are unlikely to return. I would have given a rating of 2.5 if it were an option.

On November 7th, we decided to have breakfast at this café. The place was spotlessly clean and conveniently located. However, what stood out more than anything was the exceptional service provided by the staff - professional, friendly, and welcoming. I highly recommend this place.

Every time the food (considers all diet requirements) has been...delict and high quality, the staff are always friendly and so courteous, the place is quiet, the Banksia room is thoughtful and efficient for our events before our arrival (including carefully considered with social distancing and COVID restrictions) and beautifully brightly furnished with natural light. We could not recommend MyHorizon and Bush Pantry anymore. Thank you for your wonderful customer service! We're coming back!

I had already been happy to meet my daughter for breakfast at The Bush Pantry as it was her first visit. I knew the menu was limited, but I was quite disappointed with the breakfast offers. There is really only the...Brekkie Burger I had. No bacon and eggs (either your way) or Eggs Benny (my favorite)! The burger was delicious, maybe served 'inelegant', but that's okay. My daughter, being vegetarian, had no great choice. She chose the smashed avocado. Boy, it was a disappointment! No fresh Avos today? Just pressed out of a tube! I'm sorry, but this is not an appropriate substitute, especially if the cost is $15. As you can imagine, it looked normal and tasted so bad, apparently. I think if you don't have fresh ingredients, you should just say 'sweet, it's not available today'. I doubt we're back. I would have given 21⁄2 if the option was there.
