Bidra med feedbackI recently stumbled upon Henry Lee's at Macquarie Centre while wandering around in search of a restaurant. This charming little place is a welcome escape from the noise and crowds of the shopping center. I tried their 'Benny' dish, which featured a 63-degree egg and pulled pork pesto on a seafood pancake topped with delicious Bonito flakes. The Hollandaise sauce was almost unnecessary because the flavors were so delicious on their own. I also tried their crispy chicken burger with onion jam and ginger, served with beautiful fries. I can't wait to go back and explore more of their fun menu!
Henry Lee is definitely a must visit breakfast / lunch! I'm here for both work dinners and friends on weekends and their menu never stops impressing! If you are looking for a new place to try, I can guarantee that you are not... disappointed!
The restaurant, Henry Lees, offers creatively blended Asian dishes in a spacious warehouse setting with a post-industrial vibe. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, and the cuisine is exceptional. The staff is attentive and extremely friendly. Highly recommended.
This restaurant has a hidden location with an industrial atmosphere. The terrace area is nice. The service was quick but a bit impersonal. The food is overpriced and lacking in flavor. My deconstructed sushi was not well-received. The other two dishes were better. The coffees were good. I probably won't return.
3.5/5 We visited Henry Lee’s Redfern on a weekend, and my advice to you guys is to please make a booking to avoid waiting more than 30 minutes for a table. Situated in a small alley, this little cafe has been praised as a hidden...gem. We were seated in the tiny cosy courtyard. Our coffee and food came quick. We ordered: On the Beach: a good combination of pancakes, crab meat, eggs, and fish roe. Henry’s dream: a bit plain and overpriced. Avocado on sourdough toast with an egg, some feta cheese, and cherry tomatoes. The bread was soggy chewy. Honey Bee: a bit too sweet Mushroom chips: my favourite thing on the menu Overall, the food is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes but just average taste.
