Bidra med feedbackOh what a find todayAfter doing a Yoga class I just needed something tasty and rocking up here was out of the blue.
Big fan of this spotSuper friendly staff (especially the female manager), excellent food and drink, and solid atmos.
Dig the vibe, it's 50's slash extra kitschy and has some good ol' American diner fare. Came here for dinner and ordered the fried spatchcock, spaghettini,
This place was a great surprise for us. We chose it just because it was near the place we were staying. The management was very successful in finding a new way of dining between tapas, mediterranean cuisine, fusion and possibly a very personal creative touch like "mmmm let me try how is this like"....and it comes out fine, actually more than fine. Moreover the restaurant is a nice mix of poor shabby "trattoria", "tasca" of the fifties/sixities but with a punk touch. Difficult to describe but very cool to experience. In short, it was suggested the food be shared, tapas style. But the mix of the ingredients is very original and it is very nice on the palate. Wines are ok, good ciders and beers. Staff just magnificent, very welcoming, friendly, super cool. Whilst we were there the clients were on the young side, we were the oldest people there, but they treated us with care and lots of attention. We loved that and we will go back!!!
We had a delightful meal at this restaurant. We shared six dishes among four people. Although we weren't completely full (we bought a pizza to share on the way home), the food was delicious. The staff was friendly, but having an extra server or bartender would have been helpful. Our bill came to $340 for four people for a casual dinner, including drinks, which was reasonable at under $50 per person. While I enjoyed myself and found the meal to be good, I couldn't help but think that a similar quality tapas meal in Spain would cost significantly less. However, I understand that this may just be a result of Australian pricing.
