Jaimitos Tacos - Redding

Local owned taco shop. All the meats are incredible! What ever this place is doing to marinate and flavor their food with is out of this world. The ordering process is fast and fun, kind of like a subway, just order a burrito and choose from a large list of ingredients to add, with no extra charge for things like sour cream or avocado, then grab a drink and they bring it to you fairly quick. They have a few specialty made sauces that go great on all the food. Really busy at lunch time.

This place is great! Jim and his wife crank out some delicious tacos...they are consistent so who ever is behind the counter, you know you'll soon be eating amazing food. Every time we visit, the place is clean. My favorite taco in their collection is the steak taco.

The burritos are incredibly delicious!! I really dig the pork burrito with refried beans and rice...amongst many other toppings to chose from. It 's in a good location but you 'll need to keep your eyes ope cause it 's easy to miss if you 've never been there. It 's right next to Walgreens at the far end of the shopping strip. Park under the long line of trees and when you come out with a stuffed belly your car won 't be 125 degrees. This is no Qdoba or Chipotle and you 'might ' have to wait just a min longer for your food since it 's cooked right after you 've ordered. It 's well worth the wait! There is this amazing sauce that 's usually out on a table but I cannot recall what they call it! It is creamy deliciousness though! The owner is a good man and keeps the place clean. I 'm new the the city of Redding and the owner, Jim offered advice and encouragement when I would come in and talk about how difficult it was moving here and not knowing a soul. I 'm an avid burrito head and enjoy burritos from small mom and pop shops and this place takes the number 1 spot! Just give it a try and you won 't regret it. The prices are AMAZING....especially for California. 7.95 for a burrito and all the toppings. It 's a fairly large burrito and it feeds me well. I 'm 5.10 and about 150 pounds and I usually have a little left over for a snack later.

Very clean dinning area. Super good flavor of steak dishes. Deffinatly would recommend to a friend

The tacos are amazing. Wish they were open on Sunday's tho.
