Bidra med feedbackAwful. Ordered classic meal with a drink. Food came. We laughed when it arrived at the table. The waitress laughed too and apologised. Syeak pudding mash and peas. There were about 12 peas on the plate. The gravy was congealed and cold. Mash potato was crusty on the outside. It was awful. Asked for a refund they did not give full money deducted for the drinks we had started and that we now had to keave to go elsewhere to eat. The refund did not go into bank it takes 3 to 5 days. Would never go there again
I had a very negative experience at this restaurant. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. There was a long wait to place our order, even though there were only seven people ahead of us. The food took a long time to arrive and was dry and overcooked. To add to that, my friend's gin and tonic was served in a dirty glass with lipstick on the rim. The poor service made me feel like it wasn't worth bothering to complain.
The bar was understaffed and still taking app orders, which I waited 30 minutes for. When I went to the bar, I was met by a rude bartender who did not apologize and kept saying they were short-staffed, which was not my problem. I suggested that they turn off app orders and focus on the bar, but they refused. This pub used to be lovely, but it has gone downhill over the years.
Regular at this pub today poor service and filthy tables outside encouraging wasps ie not wiped down got worse since covid
Got there and parked the car,as we were getting out a woman came out and told us it was staff parking only in a very rude and loud aggressive manor.So I pointed out the fact and she just got more aggressive.As we were getting back into the car she carried on ranting so we gave her some back .Will never go there again I have popped in there ever since it became a pub but not now .I suppose so many pubs closing down these people do not value their customers or their jobs .
