Sharod - Redbridge

I popped in here today as soon as they opened to get a takeaway. I ordered an onion bhajee starter and a meat korma with rice. My bag was packed with all that plus salad and chopped onion mix I n a pot also mint yoghurt. I was given a bag of maltesers as well. It all tasted wonderful and so much that I have enough for tomorrow. The inside has beautiful chairs and the restaurant has a calm feel to it. Someone else came in to order while I was there. I took some photos and a. Idea. Really impressed. You have to go there. It list clientele when another restaurant opened nearby. It was their ex Manage. A nice man but the people in Sharod were also nice. Please give it try. Tell them you read this.

ALWAYS check your bill. This restaurant has twice now added items to our bill that were never ordered. Pointed it out the first time and they corrected it, but tonight I just couldnt be bothered to challenge it. Won't EVER be using it again.

Food and service are really good, family-run business, they really have a handle on courtesy. Recommend this restaurant!!

Have been a few times. Very small, family run restaurant. Lovely food and very friendly service. Restaurant is small and popular, so it is necessary to book. At the end of each meal the owner/manager has given myself and my partner a free digestif (Baileys) and on leaving I have been given a box of Maltesers nice touch!

I ordered online with just eat… I didn’t go into the restaurant but I feel this needs to be said. As an ex customer of this restaurant I thought I’d try them out again on just eat. And I have to say the food was disgusting. I don’t say this lightly but it’s the worst Indian food I’ve ever had the misfortune to order, I’m only glad I didn’t order a lot or a jalfreze at £12. Never again… I’ll stick with Abshar from now on. I even washed the sauce off of the curry and gave my dog the chicken, the sauce was not good and the onion bhajis were like wet dough throughout. The only thing I actually ate. Was the mango chutney with the popodoms which I have had better. I don’t know what happened to this once busy restaurant but I will never order from them again. Paid good money for something onlyfit for my dog and the bin. Very disappointed.
