Golden Curry - Redbridge

My partner and I have enjoyed some wonderful meals at this restaurant in the past. It had been 18 months since our last visit, and we were shocked by the poor quality of the food during our recent visit. It seems like there may have been a change in the kitchen staff, as the standard of the food has dropped significantly. It was disappointing to see such a decline in quality.

We have always enjoyed dining in and getting takeout from Golden Curry, so we decided to have them cater our 40th wedding anniversary party. They were extremely helpful, from helping us choose the menu to delivering the food. Every one of our approximately 80 guests thoroughly enjoyed the food and went back for seconds. The food was fresh, hot, perfectly cooked, and delicious – we couldn't have asked for anything more.

I ordered food for 7 people to be delivered. Food was delivered on time, was piping hot and was, as usual, difficult to fault. I've used this restaurant plenty of times and have never been disappointed, This is not my local restaurant and I use it because it was recommended to me. It is my first choice when having a curry at home.

Once again, the staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring I took advantage of their special Wednesday deal. The Indian food was decent, with the Chicken Madras being especially delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

Decent curry, with polite, helpful staff and a friendly atmosphere. It's great to come back and find that places are as good as I remember!
