Bidra med feedbackStopped by tonight for drinks and a snack, the weather was great and a fire was going at the patio fire pit. We got to sit next to the fire all evening and enjoy ourselves (outdoors, but the roofed-in patio area). Joel his staff took great care of us (Joel was even our 'waiter ', not often you get the owner looking after you personally at most restaurants). Food was top notch and I can 't think of anywhere else in town you can enjoy an outdoor fire. I enjoyed some local Troubled Monk beer and my girlfriend tried both the red white sangria. Definitely one of Red Deer 's hidden jems!
Very nicely set up. Had a reservation so no wait time. (Not sure if there would be one without it) easy to set up a reservation via text. Unique menu. Fast service but not like they were trying to rush you to get out. Our table had mussels, mushroom soup, lobster potato skins, ravioli with chicken and one with shrimp, and wild boar chop. All delicious. Will definitely be going to this hidden gem again!
I bought the romantic vacation package I believe it’s called. The jacuzzi room that came with the package was nice. Big like a hot tub. The slay ride and five course meal was nice. But as I find out and five course meals are a thing stretched out. Something to keep in mind. All in all it was a good weekend in red deer. Something to try once.
Went for a visit the other day and it was very relaxing, clean and beautiful out !! People going by on the walking trails, great staff, just beside the river and lots to see especially if you're into horses ! Say hi to Joel when you go ! He's the owner and he does a great job running that place
We had a great experienced exploring the area. We walked in the morning. Lots of amazing scenery. Lots of trails. Walking trails are mixture of pave and gravel, depends on which trail you will take. There is a pond in the area which is perfect for fishing. Lots of trees in the surrounding. We were able to see the horses in the ranch. Another great adventure. Another great memories from Red Deer.
