The Noodle House - Red Deer

We were in a hotel that comes as red deer, but actually is only customs over the city border in benzin alley in the graphic surrounding the city. there were menus in the hotel info book for a few restaurants, and there was even a national pizza chain right over the parking lot. for the price of a pizza over the parking lot we saw that we could get a whole dinner for two in this Chinese restaurant, so it was. eating was tasty enough, but really only her standard Chinese witness to write nothing at home. because we were not within the city limit, they had to calculate us more for the delivery and the supplier did not even wear a mask for covid, although they seem to need it in the hotel. so great value marks (the two of us dinner, with enough leftover for a second dinner, for the same price as a pizza on the schnazzy national chain), but low marks for pandemic protocols. sometimes in the small city rural settings, local heath autorities do not need masks in all situations, but hey, they are to do traveling, spend a dollar and use a mask. the problem of being outside the city limit is strange. a restaurant in red deer that we called from the hotel phone came up as long distance.

Now they know how to eat Lucky’s kitchen but the same quality! the best food in the city! our favorite is the salt and pepper chicken with rice or number that is Vietnamese noodles, pork, garnel and sweet! sooo yummy! it is always fresh and the staff is...so friendly and beautiful! support before location!

Lucky’s kitchen is now at this place that not only serve the Chinese cuisine that they serve at the jackpot casino, but it is now called lucky family restaurant. they serve the vietnamesen, which are served by the previous owners, but tasty western foods, like. well I have there today with a friend from the city on a terrible day for weather and of course we had the Chinese cuisine that we love. it is the best in red deer. period. they offer delivery and takeover and the new phone number (as it was in the casino) I have been a loyal delivery customer for many years. I'm trying to visit the vietnameses at my next one! the restaurant is immaculate and the service was excellent!

We were there at lunchtime and I ordered the dinner for one (it is not on the map). I had a selection of two items from dinner for two listings plus an egg roll or spring roll. I chose chicken eggs and honey garlic. boneless pork with an egg roll. we didn't have to wait long and that was fresh. the server was great! it was friendly and efficient.

I ordered rare beef with satay pho. I got beef ball pho with a few scraps of beef slices that had been in the broth far too long. Broth very plain, couldn't taste star anise, ginger, cilantro, no Thai basil, just blah. Salad rolls had...no crunch as the lettuce was wilted and sparse. Dipping sauce was watered down hoisin, no peanuts, no spice, just blah. Delivery took minutes so not bad.
