Swiss Chalet - Red Deer

Ordered a takeout chicken and rib meal, the chicken was good, nice and hot but the ribs were ice cold. Also ordered a slice of pie, paid $5.00 for a 1 inch by 1 inch piece of pie. Almost $35 for the meal, I don't think thats a fair price for cold food and super small portions. I won't be back.

My mother has been a fan of this restaurant for over 60 years. My roommate always brings me food from there and I especially love their chicken. You must try their fresh cut fries! If you enjoy poutine, they have the best in town, even better than New York Fries.

I had lunch today and wanted to take the time to write a review, as it is something I rarely do. Our server, Caroline, provided exceptional courtesy, care, and execution in her job, especially considering she was working alone today. The food was delicious as always, but the service was outstanding, thanks to Caroline. She is now our favorite server, and we will definitely be returning with our friends and family, requesting her by name every time. Thank you, Caroline, you are the best!
