Jj's Kitchen - Red Deer

I ordered the gourmets and the feeling it was anything but. The broth was the same as the amazed soup, which is not bad, but it is far from the rich taste you expect from the ruffles. The bowl was full of huge pieces Broccoli, and I like Broccoli, but it made it harder to enjoy. The fried egg was tasteless and flat, a strong indication of bad egg quality. And the worst were noodles; I think they would have been spaghetti noodles, or Chow mean they were certainly not rosm noodles. The BBQ pork was tasty, I like a fat meat in my ram, but I won't hold it against her. The staff was very nice and I really enjoyed my dumplings. I can go back one day to try something else and see if this was a fuke, but if you enjoy lawn, don't go here!

The place is decent inside. We went to watch the UFC fights so we had obviously planned to be there for a long time. The waitress made leave a personal item on the table while we went out for a cigarette, despite us telling her we were going. Why would we skip out on a bill that we had made reservations to watch the fights for? I’ve never had a waitress make me do that. The food wasn’t very good. It was edible but it wasn’t anything special, the breaded fish tasted like store bought frozen fillets. This was my first time here and I probably won’t be back.

Had our xmas party, the table looked like it was smashed by someone as it was split and dangling.... my beer was warm and flat yuck. The thai chicken was edible at first but the onions and salt took over towards the end. Ceasar salad was unedible and my chicken tasted like old nacho chips. Waitress was nice.

So disappointed. Went in a a group of 4 to get drinks and appetizers. Everyone was standing, music was so loud we had to shout at each other, couldn't find any staff, not a clean table in the bar area. Felt like the clientele had taken over the place. Standing in aisles, moving all the tables, walking around with their drinks. Would not recommend. Would describe as chaotic and unorganized.

Went to JJ's about 6 months ago and had one of the best steaks ever. 3 months ago we came back. The same order and the steak was alright. But tonight. Oh my. NO FLAVOR WHAT SO EVER. Way over cooked. Stiff as a bord. Dried out. Won't be back
