Boar Hunters - Red Bluff

It's too bad you can't leave less than 1 star. The employees are rude. The food is gross. The tri tip sandwich was a few chips of some meat with some sauce thrown on dry stale bread. There definitely wasn't the toasted warm garlic bread as was described on the menu. When we asked for horseradish sauce we were screamed at by an employee that they were closed...a no would have been sufficient. Trust me Taco Bell next door would have been 10x better.

We ordered the chicken sandwich which my wife loved. However the mushrooms were pretty bad and the hamburger was as dry as the Sahara. I truly hope they improve immensely because they need to.

We decided to try this place as we have driven by it many times and were curious. I was extremely pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality of the sampler platter that I ordered. This came with; ribs, chicken, tri-tip, and pulled pork, all of which was deliciously and freshly prepared to mouth watering perfection. I am looking forward to returning and trying other items on the menu. The service was excellent, efficient and extremely friendly.

Husband tried this place and told me we had to come up. Was not disappointed. We had The Big Boss and the Mac and cheese. Both worth the drive. We also got a tri tip to go. Perfection! You won't be disappointed. Big portions of meat! Service was great!

This place is so freaking good Mr and Mrs Tausch can darn sure handle the BBQ business. They sadly had to shut down the restaurant and opened their food truck but that's OK they sure won't lose customers. The best thing they make that I never had before till I tried theirs was pulled pork mac and cheese oh my goodness that is so good. If you ever see them and their food truck it is very well worth the stop.
