The restaurant of Agriturismo Le Betulle Recoaro Terme VI Veneto. I tend to always point out Name_Agritur Country Region simply because I am Veneto DOC and DOCG: and this prevents me from not mentioning where I spend wonderful hours in the family, immersed in the genuine culinary that would envy the Stars; and in the serenity of an Agritur where I find a place always impeccably welcoming, genuine and full of affection. A bit of healthy and personal Campanianism, finally, prevents me not to mention the place, the people, the scents and flavors of the territory where I was born, raised and where I always return with so much heart and lively impatience ... and also with great nostalgia... always and still alive in me. Ok, end of the intro: We return to the menu we enjoyed today, 06 August 2023 birthday of my Mother: surprise, lard, còpa, as appetizer; gnachi co 'la fiorèta, macaròni co ' ragù denatra, lasagnete co 'the vegetables, as first; conèjo, gulash, polenta Veneta, vegetables de l'orto ; cafè dela moca graspa di laoro e nocino tutto prodotto dela dela Recoarese/Veneto . What to add again? After lunch, before returning home, I recommend the siesta la verandina covered with green on the right coming out of the restaurant room: a Tuscan for mind and body...not so much to rest after a struggle, anything else! Welcome to remembrate the aromas and flavors that the Kitchen made of products at km zero and an expert Cuoco Luca and a 'altrettanto capable Cuoca Chiara has been able to give us during this birthday lunch. Of course, our mother, eighty-three-year-old, spoke little during lunch because she was busy enjoying the excellent dishes offered, prepared and served with great love and passion! Having been cook also she, our Mother did nothing but recognize goodness and genius in cooking the foods that came out from the kitchen carrying behind that scented air typical of the real sewing made in the house. As on it can do without mentioning in this review, arrived in its final part, the constant and affectionate presence as a welcome hug of the Master cook Lucia mother of Luca and Chiara that while not being physically there, because blocked by an injury with his affection, his attention for each customer, and with his natural spontaneity it was without pause, rich of feeling and passionate Love for the Customer. Tell her again if not an immense thank you for transmitting her brilliant talent to her children and to whom she collaborates with them? So, THANK YOU TO ALL THE HEART Dear Lucia, Luca, Chiara and Eleonora! We stayed for three days. Welcome to Chiara warm and very professional. The site is the fruit of a recent renovation, surrounded by nature, quiet and relaxing area. Cleaning and equipment in the excellent room. The kitchen offers dishes related to homemade and local traditions prepared with care, excellent also the jams and preserved vegetables produced by the company, I recommend the msrmellata di cotogno, super.
We stayed from 6/8/2021 to 10/8/2021. The property is very beautiful and in a quiet position, literally a stone's throw from the woods and the center of Recoaro Terme. Breakfast and dinner with typical products and cultivated directly from the structure (to try gnocchi with the floret, polenta greaseta, bigoli with duck ragù and many more.... Beautiful room with view of the valley and the mountains in the background, a postcard! What to say, the only negative note is the fact that you have to go home. Thanks to Chiara, her mother cooks and the whole family for the kindness and attention shown.
It's the second time I've been back in this little gem from which to spend care and love. You can see it in all the details... The rooms, derived from the wise renovation of an old farmhouse, stone for stone, are cozy, large and cuddle in the same way. The kitchen, made of traditional dishes, like gnocchi with the floret (really a delight) or the old-fashioned chicken, cooked piano... It doesn't even seem the same thing we eat at home! Breakfast (for me always an added value to my stays) with the homemade jams, fresh eggs... abundant and delicious. And the welcome... what to say... attentive and kind, urges every need. Thank you, Chiara. You made us feel at home, but more pampered.
I have to tell the truth, at some point I wanted to go see if my mom was in the kitchen. Same dishes, same sensations, homemade pasta, vegetables very cooked and well seasoned, Venetian cuisine of past generation, without saving fat, but tasty. Small place, real farm account. Positive, I'll come back.
