Singapore Chinese Takeaway - Reading

I bought 2x15 inch pizza, 2burg chips and a drink for £12.99. It was ordered for the collection and it was very nice.

I give only three stars, but in a way that is not fair, it deserves more, but it is very a Chinese takeaway and delivers a good consistent product, but it is what you expect from a late night after the pub food facility, so in a way it offers an excellent service with delicious food, but there is nothing gourmet about it, so it is bad no! It is not quality, but it has and will always fill a belly with a lasting meal.

I once had the sweet and sour chicken that was good. But last week I got the riddles with crispy duck. After 3 minutes, my order was ready to surprise me. As soon as I got home, I understood why. They heated the container with the noodles in the microwave, acidified in the middle, burned torn and uncooked at the edges of the container. The duck and sauce were also heated again. I know his fast food, but that's too much...

The chicken balls were basically dense dough filled with frozen overcooked chicken, tasted very sweet and underseasoned, even without the sauce and the sweet and acidic sauce was simply bad, worse than cheap shop bought. We paid 4 pounds for won tons who arrived in them without filling, only leaves of oily deep dough. The Prawn reels were probably the worst, tasted really bad and they should be crispy, but although they were deep fried, they simply tasted like old dough with freezer compartment burning. Some of them did not even bounce in them, just horrible dough, and the yarns filled tasted. The Tofu dish was also dreadfully cooked, soggy and underseasoned with a sauce that was closer to syrup. However, it happened on time, but honestly, we would have preferred if the food had not arrived at all. The worst 20 pounds we've ever spent on recording.

Such a shame this is no longer the Singapore takeaway..I am editing my 5* review! I thought I had walked into the wrong place with the PIZZA BOXES everywhere! There old crispy chilly beef/pork is now not crispy (its in the name) and is in a sloppy sauce. The Cantonese sweet and sour chicken is chicken nuggets in a sweet and sour sauce (Mc D's are better) the rice was OK i guess but at £22!!!
