Burghfield Spices - Reading

We were heartily welcomed at Burghfield Spices last Saturday despite arriving at 10 pm. We were impressed with the food quality of our curries, so different from the 'mulch ' of the average curry. The ingredients were fresh and our meals were appetising and nicely served.

Liked the food but one of the waiter was quite rude and condescending We were charged for more than what we had asked for and what was served . I am not sure I will be able to convince my family to go back there despite the fact that the food was reasonably good. I hope this visit was an exception and all others get a better service.

Good food at a good price , staff friendly and welcoming. Always a pleasure to visit

Bar service was slow to start but the welcome and food quality was excellent. By the end the whole family definitely want to go back soon and they are fussy!

A little difficult to find but it is actually in the pub the Hatch Gate. The service was outstanding and the flavour and quality of the curry was excellent. They made me a special curry customised to how I like it.
