Michael's Big City Steakhouse - Rawlins

Another great find. The food is excellent and the portions are generous. I had a perfect steak with a loaded sweet potato, my wife had Fajitas who were right.

Madness! The highway was taken off for a meal, and MAN was overhauled. Place was clean, portions were huge, and the staff was very friendly. If in the area, we would recommend HIGHLY this steak house.

What a funny evening! My husband said it's the place where you go as a stranger and as friends. The guests were all talking to each other when we looked at the huge portions of the kitchen! Our meals were delicious, service was fast, and it was a pleasure meeting Mike. He is obviously a true patriot and a beloved member of his community. Who can keep a restaurant running for almost 50 years must do something right. Great job, Mike. We may see you on the flip side of our trip.

In rawlings for a night on the way to slc. I can't say enough good things about this place. warm, friendly, friendly, clean. all adjectives that describe this restaurant. hubs had the chicken roast steak and I had the best rib sandwich; both delicious. mike has spent time talking to his customers. he really wanted to know our story. I mentioned that eating was excellent and was cooked for perfection. Go, don't go, come here and taste good food.

5 stars overall. Clean, friendly, prompt service. Salad was good, shrimp was decent, steak was fantastic! Exactly how I ordered it (rare). The baked sweet potato.....drenched in sugar and marshmallows... if you aren't expecting that it is not pleasant. Bit of a downer really. Whomever the wordsmith is responsible for crafted the menu deserves some extra praise. Comedy goldmine.
