Nak Won - Ravensworth

The lady who came to our table to take order was really nice. We asked if they can do steamed dumplings since we didn’t see it. She said yes we can. And we ordered a couple of other foods also.But then my mom and I hear her getting berated by an older lady who yelled at her loudly for everyone to hear “why did you let them order steamed dumplings when we don’t have that? Do you see it on the menu? Why would you say we have it?” And I hear the other lady say “ I wouldn’t have taken the order if I have not seen it be provided by our kitchen. Do you think I would do that without knowing?” All this conversation in Korean while the older one is still getting loud and keeps questioning the lady who took our order.We were appalled and told them forget it and we are going somewhere else.The loud and obnoxious older one asks “why are you guys leaving?”We responded “because of your unprofessional way of handling things when the other person was trying to provide good customer service!” And we also said out loud to our server “ thank you and don’t let this person ruin your day!” And also told the obnoxiously loud older lady that she is unprofessional and rude how she handled that.She could have just come by or told the server to please let them know we can’t do that. But even is you are the owner or manager, no one should berate the other person in the restaurant for everyone to hear, especially the customers!Retrain this lady or fire her. If you are the owner, you suck!!So no rating on how good is because you drive people out with your hateful way of how you yelled at the other person!

First time for us to eat here but the workers were very disappointing. They did not wanted to give us cabbage for which the food that come with. My wife asked for cabbage but the worker said they didn't have it. We find that very non convincing statements. I guess if you are a regular there, you will get the extras but if you just go there for the first time, you will make it the last time and that's how they operate. I guess they don't plan on operating the business for long time not with that attitude.

I've been here twice and had a great experience both times. Their sides are fantastic, their mackerel is perfect, and their fish intestine soup is rich and earthy.The first time I came here, I was tired at the end of a day where I'd had nothing to eat, and I was able to get full on $20, tip included. I chose one of the cheaper options, but that's still a great price for NOVA! The second time I'd had more to eat that day, and I had to take some food home. I'll certainly come back if I'm in the area.

Dolsot Bibimbap was pretty good and there were plenty of side dishes. Would’ve preferred more vegetables but overall satisfied.

I have been to Nak Won before and was pleased every time, however this visit was disappointing. I went for lunch with a friend and ordered the Seafood Noodle Soup. There was almost no seafood in the soup. I counted once small (and I mean really small) shrimp, two small pieces of squid and about 5 tiny mussels. It also came with small side dishes that I had to share with a friend I was dining with. I have to admit that for $13 this was a very disappointing meal.
