Restaurant is easy to find. In the centre of Ratingen. Impeccable service, delicious food, marvelous atmosphere. I strongly recommend it!

If you want an authentic German experience as far as pub dining goes, this is your place. It has fantastic traditional German food and it's probably the best jager schnitzel I've ever had in my life. Always a must anytime I'm in Germany

Smiling and welcoming German staff. Menu in English. Pages of local German cuisine along with local beers and Killepitsch to finish. Sometimes when you are travelling, it's hard to get away from international cuisine and food chains sometimes, you want to eat and drink...like a local and enjoy the ambience. A hundred and one things to do with potatoes, pork and cabbage as well as other specialities. The staff were really helpful and described and recommended dishes. I went for a dish which comprised of: sauerkraut, pork chop, local sausage, potatoes cubes fried in onion, garlic and herb and a huge hunk of pork knuckle. All washed down with Schofferhofer Heffe Weise and Killipitsch I avoided the local brown ale because they are always sold in v.small glasses. Great service the essence of Germany under one roof. Get away from Holiday Inn, Mercure etc avoid Dusseldorf and eat here for a great experience.

Came here with a party of three for lunch on a busy Saturday morning market day. The service was good, the food tasty, and the prices were reasonable. Plus, we had a window view of the people traffic at the market. This place is always...full and in good weather, there are high tables and stools to sit at and watch the world go by outside. Will easily go again.

I visited Zu den Drei Königen on a Sunday in March. I was traveling on business and dined alone. I ordered the Rumpsteak with Kräuterbutter. The waiter did not ask how I wanted it cooked, and I didn't think about it until the meal came...out and the steak was too rare for my taste. The friendly waiter gladly took it back to the kitchen and had it cooked a little longer. The meal was very good, and the Weißbier I had was the perfect compliment to the meal. I would recommend this restaurant and would also return.
