This was not the cheapest place to get a pizza, but it was the best that we had in Switzerland (and we ate a lot of pizza). The crust was amazing. We enjoyed dining outside enjoying the view of the lake.
Eight of us took the Gray line Heidiland and Liechenstein Tour from Zurich. When we arrived in Rapperswill they had a parent/child race going on and it was pouring rain. The restaurant we were advised to go by our tour guide was packed. We looked around town and found Marco's. We decided to have hot minestrone soup and wine. Good decision as we were able to warm up and get dry. We sat at the bar and were able to watch the chef preparing the pasta dishes. We enjoyed talking to some of the locals that were also in the restaurant enjoying a meal. I did not realize at the time that this would be just about the highlight of the tour.
Very fine and unusual sauces for various pasta dishes. The order was received quickly. We really enjoyed watching the food being prepared in the open kitchen from the bar.
Eating whitefish as much as you want that was a nice experience yesterday! Thanks to the team!
