Bidra med feedbackService was exceptional. that was great. the otopus (pulpo) was perfectly cooked and the panna cotta was light and refreshing. we're coming back.
Went on New Year’s Eve. One waitress for all the tables. Manager/owner never came over to check on us. Food was not that good this time. The chicken was literally 3 chicken pieces (not even a half breast). No salt on the food. Very bland. The bartender made horrible drinks. The drinks took over 30 minutes to make it to the table. I asked what was going on. Apparently they had 60 reservations and only one waitress. The manager/owner should have came around and made super ever table was ok. He did not!
Good food, great ambiance. Felt like something in L.A. without having to go that far.
The food was good and seemed geared to fine dining, with a cost that matched that level. The atmosphere however was similar to a food court. It was a very odd experience. I was sitting on an uncomfortable chair while my wife sat on an uncomfortable bench. The tables were very close to each other and the noise level matched the food court atmosphere. I very much enjoyed the food, but not enough to sit in a noisy cafeteria without the ability to carry on a conversation because the other patrons were so loud and so close. Very odd.
Food was okay: -Calamari could be fried a little bit longer, squid didn’t taste fresh -Brussel sprouts were good, but seemed more boiled than crunchy. Sauce was great -Margherita Pizza, could use more tomato or a tomato paste, the bread was cooked to perfection no gel layer and properly proofed. -Cacio e Pepe was good, just needs more peppercorn to Parmesan ratio, pasta was on par for al dente -Parpadelle was great with the short rib, one of the few dishes I finished -Pesto Pasta was the best, a lot of veggies hiding the pasta.
