Bidra med feedbackThis place is fire???Got a deal from local flavor and had to buy 2 more because the food was so good. The mozzarella stick I loved. My daughter picked up food and said service 10 out if 10. I cant wait to try the deserts an noodles. Thanks for the quality!!
Yummy yummy yummy just as good as pinks hotdogs in LA but not as far and maybe not as expensive and you can actually sit down somewhere and eat it
Workers are kind I Ate the food too fast to get a picture. I ordered a la dog I definitely recommend!
This review is purely based on the service today. I placed an order earlier today for delivery for my family and friends. When the delivery came, I already knew it was the wrong order (one single bag) and sure enough the receipt stapled to the bag has a different person 's name. The delivery driver stated that it was the only bag given to him by the Umai staff, and left the bag with me. No big deal. Mistakes happen. My wife placed a call to Umai and the person hung up or just answered without speaking the first couple of times. When someone finally answered, my wife tried explaining what happened and the person on the line just kept telling her to call back in 20 min, without even acknowledging the mistake. My wife hands the phone over to me and I tried to explain what happened, and I get the same response. I then asked if it would be better for me just to go there, and the response I get from this person is are you threatening me!? She keeps repeatedly yelling it over and over without allowing me to get another word in. This was surprising to say the least when I was the one who paid for delivery and tried to make things right by just picking up the food. This has happened a handful of times to me since I was ordering out a lot more during the pandemic and I never had a restaurant get angry or feel threatened for me asking if I can just pick up the food myself. I let my temper get to me and just tell this person to F off and hang up. I get mistakes happen and weekends are busier, but to double down and accuse me of being threatening is flat out unacceptable. I live and work near Haven City Market/Umai, so I am there quite a bit. I have never had a single negative experience at any of the other restaurants there. I have had Umai 's food and I enjoyed it. I know me being one less customer in the future won 't be an impact to Umai 's business, but I hope someone in management will see this and realize they have an employee that lacks common sense and empathy for customers.
Every time we're at Haven City, we go to Umai for kids meals. My toddler and 8 yr old love their tenders and plain hot dogs (meals come with fries and a drink). I've noticed so many different items on their menu before and never thought to try anything else... until today! Man, I've been missing out! Ordered delivery (via DoorDash) and everything was so good. I was honestly surprised how flavorful and delicious the garlic Parmesan pasta with bulgogi was. Seriously, 10/10!!! It was just a little hard to eat out of the packaging and I ended up having to move it into a bowl cuz I was tearing up the paper with my fork. Really enjoyed the wings too! Perfectly crispy, well seasoned and portioned. First time trying the fried mozzarella (Korean style) and it was great too! Definitely reordering all the aforementioned items. Lol. We also ordered the truffle fries and they were good but the truffle aioli was a bit overwhelming. They generously layer it over so I might ask for that on the side next time.
