Live near this place and what I had heard was it was greasy and not very flavorful, well I got sick of having to go out of my way to Chinese so I decided to give this place a shot am let me tell you the food is amazing some of the best food come out of hole in the walls like this one.

The service isnt the greatist (everyone dissapeared when we walked in ...and we were the only customers lol). The food was really good though! I had a pho and a strawberry shake n both were soo good. My favorite viet place in sac (even though the neighborhood looks ghetto). Its def. Worth a try if youre craving sum good viet food :

Pho Real. I went here a couple of weeks ago while I was in Sacramento for work. It was close to my hotel and had good ratings, so I decided to give it a try.<br/ <br/ It's located in a not-so-hot neighborhood next to a little casino. As I entered, I saw one of the guys behind the counter picking his nose. I though about turning around and walking out, but I didn't.<br/ <br/ I ordered Pho to go. When I got back to my hotel, I saw that the beef was raw. I was a little worried that since I'd ordered my Pho to go the broth wouldn't be hot enough to cook the beef. I was wrong. The beef cooked right away. I was given ample sides such as noodles, bean sprouts, chiles, onions, and sauce. The broth was very flavorful. I'm not a huge Pho fan, but I have to admit this was pretty good.<br/ <br/ Will I go back? I doubt it. The food was good but the guy picking his nose is a big turn-off. Plus I'm only in Sac one or two nights a month and there are many more places left to try. That being said, I'm still glad I tried Sunny.

Not what was expected, at first glance you wouldn't expect to find a TREAT like this. The place it self would be one of these hole in the wall restaurant which was empty on a monday morning (10am) no complaints there. When i read the previous 3 review i wasn't too sure. When ordering i wanted something different from the fast food circle and the host although not too clear to me personally, now i see she led me where i wanted to go. My plate consisted of white rice and deliciously prepared steak rolled with and aromatic lime type vegetable and well seasoned shrimp.. i don't really like seafood but this might have changed my mind, partnered with fresh veggies. This is definite a place to drop by more than once. Service is well and prompt. Don't trust the pics on the menu, the food is much delightful once in front of you. The photos dont do justice to the food they prepare.

Really good pho! Service was super quick, but maybe because there were only two customers in there at that time. Good prices also. Will definitely come back next time.
