Unfortunately, we recently had a terrible experience here (only yesterday). We loved it here and I even had my degree in the medical school a decade ago. This restaurant hasn't been the same since the pandemic. Maybe it's a lack of personnel. We came and wanted to sit outside. The hostess didn't know if a table was available and asked the guests if their neighboring table was available??????? my toddler ran around and my newborn was rocked and after 15 minutes of zero service I went and asked them if someone would come and actually take our order. Didn't we know if you were staying? So if you have a guest who hangs around the table for 15-20 minutes and you need to guess if they are? You stay or not, you have a serious healthy sense. She could have just approached us and asked if it was most confusing. I have no excuse. The waiter said, my first day since the pandemic.? In fact, none of them seemed to care that we were visibly annoyed. The hostess brought water and no peep. Her ego was bigger than her head, not even able to move good customers. We ordered and food took about an hour to come!! The restaurant didn't even have so many people. No bread serves nothing (if you? will take forever to give us food, at least bring a basket of bread. The waiter has never even updated us on our order or has apologized forever. He's never seen anything like it. My chicken shell was dry like a bone. The pasta was watery. The only good was the burger. We never come back here.

My wife had the Angle hair spaghetti and shrimp, I had cooked the hamburgers absolutely to perfection (medium rare). Both meals were AWESOME!!! But the appetizer was INCREDIBLE!! It was the meatball in a special sauce.

While I stayed at Marriott in Rancho Cordova, I decided to go down and have breakfast in Formaggio. I sat, looked around and found that I was the only person who had breakfast, except another table with two people. So it wasn't very busy. The staff seemed nice. What I didn't understand is that my order of two posing eggs over a potato hash with bacon and Hollandaise sauce, more room temperature than hot. The worn eggs were not runny and that the Hollandaise sauce had already picked up and set. As you do not get served hot food in a non-business restaurant of this style. It's not Dennys. The sad thing is if the Hollandaise sauce had been served warm and the egg yolk was casual, it would have been a tasty dish and it was worth experiencing. Maybe the bar here attracts people and not the food.

We ordered food at the bar to go to eat by the pool and take to the room late Sunday evening. It took a very long time for someone to help us at the hostess stand, then even longer for someone at the bar to take our order. Not a lot of options on the menu, especially simple options for kids. The food was good, we ordered a variety of apps and an entree to split. The sausage appetizer was one sausage split down the middle.
