Gasthof Oberwirt - Ramsau

We walked the salt-alpensteig salt path) and stayed every evening in another hotel/guesthouse. the gasthof oberwirt has a charming, old-fashioned feeling for it. we loved our simple room with a balcony overlooking the mountains and enjoyed a delicious dinner in the beer...Garden we did not come to suzie, but met their daughter, who was very friendly and helpful and managed to arrange our guest tickets on our departure day. ramsau is a charming village and is well placed for hiking and remembrance of the opposite.

Beautiful old house in beautiful land. the interieur does not seem to be much changed when it was finely built, traditional stand. I enjoyed fantastic waffle and potato salad, beer and coffee for a very reasonable €12.20 friendly service. highly recommended.

The hospitality I received during my stay was very friendly, the staff was very friendly and there were no problems during my stay. the food there was excellent, especially their carvings. if you are looking for a place in the ramsau, I would recommend the gasthof oberwirt.

We were in ramsau just before 18 o'clock and decided to eat in the oberwirt as it wasn't too far from where we were. the restaurant has a beautiful traditional decor. we ordered a lot of dressed like gulasch and...rinderbreads that were tasty; but we could not try dessert, as they were obviously closed earlier in the evening when we expected. the service was okay even though it was a bit abrupt. four dinners came to about 57 euro, which seemed appropriate enough. on the road to the left (west side) of the upper farm there is approx. a dozen parking spaces for hotel and restaurant guests, which is very practical.

We came back here recently as we stayed here 20 years ago. Just stopped for lunch in the pleasant garden. We chose a simple lunch which was good and all other customers seemed to be getting good food
