The Main Course - Ramona

Way to go if your seeing a show at the Mainstage.Food was good .Service was fast .

This was an outstanding experience. The staff was friendly, the food was amazing and the ambiance was perfect. I took a co-worker and his spouse there for a celebratory dinner and we had a great time. Our food was absolutely delicious. We had the brussels sprouts and the scallops for appetizers and they were out of this world awesome. Best I have every had. We then had the bone-in rib eye that was incredible as well. We will be back again for future celebrations.

The service was minimal and appeared under staffed in the restaurant and one bartender for venue. The two cocktails purchased were not made correctly and took in excess of 30 minutes to receive. The appetizer did not come out until entrées. The side dishes were not as ordered. The only reason to eat here is you are allowed in venue before everyone else. If you can avoid please do so! Speaking of the venue, my wife has significant knee issues and they refused to provide ADA seating, stating it is first come, first serve!

I made a reservation here a week ago for a business lunch meeting through Open Table. My client and I both drove an hour each way to meet here, in the middle. The day before I received both an email and text message confirming my reservation. You can understand my surprise when the restaurant was closed! It even says on the door the hours listed and it should have been open. Not sure if there was a sudden closing, but they should have still called the reservations of the day and notified them.

It may be the only fine dining restaurant in Ramona, but it is still overpriced. My wife's short ribs were half fat. I had a vegetarian spaghetti squash quinoa, which tasted good. The wife had a glass of wine, I had water. I'd indicated on OpenTable that it was my wife's birthday, but they didn't acknowledge it. Even though the portions are generous $90 is pretty high for the quantity and quality.
