Umami Japanese Steakhouse Sushi

Usually love to come here as my daughter loves the food. Got to go, decided to sit at the bar and get a drink as i waited. No one stopped to greet me or ask if I wanted anything. 3 separate people looked at me and still nothing. I left and got a drink elsewhere. I spent $80 on the food when i got back I and asked for white sauce. They charged me for the extra which i jokingly said are you seriously charging me since i usually get it extra no problem. Yes. I left and then noticed they didn't even provide me with all the correct food and sauces I had initially ordered. Then it wasn't even as good as normal. All bad today.Has me reconsidering if id ever return after all that.

My daughter and I came here for a mommy/daughter lunch date and loved it. The food and people were wonderful this is going to be one of our go to lunch spots. Food: 5/5

Great food and fun. Would recommend to anyone who loves hibachi. You could see our performer was still learning but still did an excellent job of entertaining us while he cooked. Food was exceptional.

The look, atmosphere, and service were all okay, which is why I give a 2 star. But the food was just bland. Most of my group ordered the spicy chicken hibachi, it the chicken was not anywhere near spicy, and was flavorless. The rice and egg turned out ok, but the protein (chicken and shrimp) was just disappointing. also ordered a scallop appetizer which had no flavor. Looked very basic. Am not sure if it was because we were the last round of dinners that night, but would not come here again personally.

Just okay... not sure how Japanese steak hibachi does not have GARLIC BUTTER!!!! I really wanted to cancel my order. Overall really just okay, if you want to fellowship with a few friends, and not looking for a load of flavor... Personally, I will look for another option next time I'm in the area and have a taste for hibachi... with an extra dab of garlic butter.
