Piola - Raleigh

After celebrating our anniversary here, my husband and I brought his family here for dinner and there were thumbs up and grunts of approval all around! The staff is very friendly and happy to help explain any confusing parts of the menu. Definitely a small gem in North Hills!

Jimmy was our waiter. He was cool.. The garlic knots were soo good,as was the pizza suggestion- sausage and honey. Let's not forget about the drinks...yes, just right!

The pizza was really good and the topping options is a wide variety, the prosciutto crudo I just wish was sliced a bit thinner but other than the the mix funghi was amazing. And the pizza was cooked to perfection .

Pizza, North Hills doesnt get any better than that. The pizza is a thin crust base with authentic tomato sauce cooked in a wood fire brick oven. Great location, great pizza and great atmosphere. What more could you ask for!

Growing up in the New Jersey and New York area I was a little disappointed in the food here. The food started off great with the appetizers we order, but then our main course came out it look good but the eggplant pasta dish my wife order was run on the one side of the eggplant. Like they cook it the oven were they cook the pizza. It was so hard you couldn't cut it. My pasta dish with meat was ok but a little on the bland side. But the staff was friendly and helpful. The kids mac and cheese was great, are son had two bowls of it.
