Oak City Fish And Chips - Raleigh

Ordered the fish and chips large. Abysmal. For an establishment literally named ?Oak City Fish and Chips?, you?d think the $15 menu item they?re named after wouldn?t taste like it was microwaved and seasoned by a 5 year old. The quality of the fish was awful as I bit into over 4 bones, and the batter had absolutely no crunch or enticing flavors. Chips were okay however. I do enjoy a lot of stuff at Morgan Street Food Hall but this ain?t it. Don?t let the hollow stock footage

Was given cold and uncooked food,we tried to ask for our money back and was assured a better cook to fix the issue and remake the food and this what I received! I?m furious! $20 I paid for burnt fries and shrimp then the barely gave up fries when the Renaissance the order definitely need management on site when new workers are working. This is Ridiculous!

This was my first time coming to Oak City Fish and Chips. T helped my sister and I choose some things he thought we might like and he did NOT disappoint. We split the large fish and shrimp combo and lobster tail. When you go to Oak City, make sure T helps you!

This was my first time ever at the Morgan Street Food Hall, and baby I am HOOKED on Oak City Fish and Chips. First and foremost it's a black owned business whose staff is extremely warm and welcoming. Secondly, the prices are extremely reasonable and the fish portions (which is whiting..my favorite) are HUGE. Lastly, the seasoning is unlike any other. I ordered the fish basket (which comes w/fries) and a side order of brown sugar hush puppies and by the end of my meal I was literally licking all 5 of my fingers. Whatever seasoning is being used is definitely custom made because the FOOD??WAS??FULL??OF??FLAVOR I definitely recommend this place and give it a 15 out of 10.

Evan Steve were friendly and displayed excellent customer service skills. The food was absolutely delicious.
