Bidra med feedbackYou let us have such a great night and recollection. we try different dinge, cesar salat, beets salat, pasta, meat, desserts and everything was very good. with a very nice concept, and also with a very good kitchen, the ambiente is very elegant, but at the same time zero pretentious, which makes us feel very comfortable. it's good to go to a very good place without having to feel super nice to dress, just go to eat, I really liked the concept farm to table them and I can say that all eating was very good and excellent quality. the wee we tried was also very good. service and staff were very friendly and nice! thank you! I want to upload more pictures, but some dishes couldn't make it on the picture because they were delicious!
A very elegant and simple restaurant to enjoy with their friends, spouse and family. the food was fresh and tasty and our staff was very accommodating. parking can be narrow in its adjacent lot, but another lower level is available as well as street parking. my wife and I shared the gazpacho and the BLT salad. the sweet and the fruits are locally grown and super fresh. our entrees included the grilled chicken leg and a pasta dish. both were wonderful. we finished our meal with two delicious desserts (beautiful souffle and caramel cake.) I visited mandolin at two other locations and was equally satisfied. it is not a big restaurant, so reserve to ensure a table, especially at the weekends.
I had the opportunity to visit Mandolin a few times after the pandemic, and I can say that the restaurant has not changed since before COVID and perhaps is even better now! The restaurant is located perfectly in the Oberlin neighborhood and is suitable for those who live nearby. The parking lot isn't great, but once you find a spot, it's worth it for the tasty food! Every time we have entered the restaurant, all the workers are masked and the bathrooms are immaculate. We have never left the restaurant feeling like it wasn't clean! I love how fresh flowers welcome you at the door, last time they had fresh yellow roses! During our last visit, we enjoyed items from the autumn menu, including popcorn bisque with creme fraiche, butter shrimp, Anson Mills grits with butternut squash, turnips, kale, lardons, and parmesan aioli kale salad with blue cheese, honeycrisp apples, sunflower seeds, and muscadine vinaigrette. The chicken of the day and the catch of the day were also delicious options. Our server, Kelsey, was absolutely amazing. She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. For cocktails, we tried the Nurse with sparkling wine, angostura sugar cube, and ginger apple cider reduction, and my husband enjoyed an amaretto sour that wasn't on the menu but they made for him. I had a Fifth Ozean with Appleton 12 years Rare Blend, Madeira, falernum, and sundried lemon- it was very nice and delicious! Everything about our visit here was amazing! I am so glad that gems like this restaurant still exist. It's the perfect spot for a date night, and we even brought our 7-year-old with us and had a great experience.
From the outside this restaurant looks like nothing special, and then they kick in! it was especially greeted by the door when we came in to the picturesque little table for two we sat at. our waitress alisha was prompt and phenomenal. that eat! oh my God! we had the sunken black bells and garnel for a starter. we then had the biggest steak(divided) between us both cooked to perfection. I had no room for anything else, then a nice cup of coffee. all in all, a beautiful time in a beautiful restaurant.
The restaurant offered excellent food, atmosphere, and service. It was our first visit, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. From the appetizers to the main course, everything was delicious. The portion sizes were just right. They offer a seasonal menu sourced from local farms. The hanger steak was tender and well-seasoned, and the daily catch was fantastic. I highly recommend this place and would gladly return.
