Lafayette Village Grill - Raleigh

Food was ok. Wait staff was marginal. Waiter 20 mins for drink from bar appetizer made it out prior to 1 drink did. They were not busy. Salad was small for an entree and price.

Food and service were top notch. The food was well prepared. This was a busy night since it was Valentine's evening but they did not seem rushed which made the experience more enjoyable.

We had 5 for lunch/brunch. Ordered our food. My granddaughter’s food came out. We waited and waited for the rest of our food. Came about 10 minutes later. My waffles were cold as were my other granddaughter’s. Think maybe they sat out for those 10 minutes. Who brings one plate to a table of 5 and the rest way later. My son in law loved the burger.

The food here is amazing. We were a little hesitant to go on my husband’s birthday yesterday, because of their reviews, but decided to give it a try and it was so worth it. My husband had the shrimp and grits, they were delicious. I had the mojito grilled chicken sandwich with whipped potatoes and it was fenomenal. We shared a PB chocolate pie and it was good. The only downside was the service. Our waitress was a blonde lady and she seemed rushed all the time, despite of the place being almost empty. She would just kinda rush us to take our order and go talk to other waitresses or other ladies near the kitchen entrance. I didn’t like her attitude.
