Cousins Maine Lobster Raleigh

First-time customers from Hattiesburg, MS. Delicious! I had the Connecticut roll which was wonderful, along with the bisque. My daughter had the Maine roll and let me have a bite. Also wonderful, and a totally different taste. They are generous with the amount of lobster. The coleslaw is not heavy on mayonnaise, which I like. We will be back.

Good quality food! Friendly staff! The food may seem a bit expensive but you’re getting healthy portions with quality ingredients. I recently had the lobster quesadilla and chowder tots. The quesadilla was filled with plenty of lobster meat and lots of cheese! The tots were so hearty! It was basically clam chowder soup over the crispy tots. So delicious! I like to follow this food truck around especially if they’re at a winery: Download their app if you can. This was the second consecutive year that we’ve had Cousins Maine Lobster food truck provide food for the guests of our Christmas party. Both times have been fantastic! They arrive on time and have the food ready to go when guests arrive. The staff are courteous and helpful and the food is delicious. Our guests have always been impressed with the quality of the food and this year was no different. The clam chowder and lobster bisque were favorites as well as the lobster rolls and the lobster grilled cheese and tots. These guys are the best!

Edit: Unfortunately that was not what was communicated. We arrived at about 11:10. My husband was standing looking at the menu and a young lady was going between the back and front. She stopped, looked at my husband and said “just to let you know, I won’t be open until 12 today”. The black quilted cover was even still on the cash register. That’s unfortunate that the information relayed to you was different but had she said a “few minutes” I can assure you we would have waited. The sole reason we drove to Raleigh was to get a lobster roll from your restaurant. However we had to get back into Fayetteville by around 1:30 so we couldn’t wait until 12 to eat. I placed an order at Lylas Southern Kitchen at 11:20, 21 Sep, after trying to find an alternative. We split the fried chicken and waffle sandwich. See attached order with two drinks. This review was replied to on 22 Sep. I’m sure you can validate the time your facility opened through internal means. Google says they open at 11 so we drove up from Fayetteville to be there when they open and the employee said they weren’t opening until 12.

Usually about once a month Cousins Maine Lobster makes the trip to Hope Mills, NC to set up at Dirtbag Ales. We try to get there every time because their food is AMAZING! My son and I usually get two different types of lobster rolls and split them so we can enjoy both a cold and warm lobster roll.
