Char-grill - Raleigh

On a weekend visit to Raleigh we discovered this gem of a grill close to our hotel. First of all they have a foolproof ordering system with paper menus to easily check your options and slide thru a slit in the window. I had their BLT and my wife had their quarterpound burger. Both were beyond excellent, mouth-wateringly fantastic. They served their BLT on a fresh bun with a fresh tomato and bacon to die for. Their fries were outstanding and chocolate shakes thick and rich

A Raleigh landmark. When in Raleigh, you have to go here to get a perfectly made hanmburger or just a good old milkshake. Sad that they are tearing the old building down, won't be the same.

Me and my pregnant wife decided to give them a chance we ordered our food first of all its not even hot second they didn?t put any onions on either sandwich we all the way home my wife is upset her birthday was yesterday she wanted a good burger ???? so I call up there to let them know what?s going on and he suggested I drive back to his restaurant for the onions or mention it to his Manager next time I?m up there I?m not sure if this is because we are black but I could have

I love this char grill. Great location to eat and people watch. The staff is super friendly and have never gotten my order wrong. If you want a burger i would make sure you get the burger, they have a hamburger steak on the top of the menu that i?ve gotten confused about and ordered it thinking it was a burger. (still delicious tho!
