Bidra med feedbackI have never had a bad experience at the Alamo! Each and every time I visit, I'm wowed by the staff, food, and movie collection offered both on and off screen. I really like the atmosphere. It's become my designated theater and I can't see that changing anytime soon!
Interesting concept, movie theater, bar, and restaurant. Sit at your seat in the theater to watch your movie and a server comes around for your food and drink order. The menu has a sports bar feel to it with most of the items that type and style. The bar offers over 40 different drafts. If you arrive early for the movie the bar tender will give free samples to help you choose. Just need to remember the number and front bar to order in the theater. I'm not sure how many screens they have but we were seated in #9. Big warning to late comers, they don't sit you once the main movie starts . You purchase tickets for specific seats and you can order them up online or choose them at the register. Anyways, I had a good mood time with my family. The food was ok. I would rate about 3 1/2. Not bad. Come for the movie. The food and bar are optional.
I enjoyed seeing the Barbie movie at Alamo. I've had it on my bucket list to visit and was finally able to cross it off today during their 1130 matinee. The staff here are excellent and the vibe is totally retro. They offer plenty of beers on tap and a free vintage video rental service for those of you still mourning the loss of Blockbuster and Hollywood Video. Alamo offers an unmatched dine-in experience. Their menu is pretty extensive with cool boozy milkshakes, brunch and gourmet flavored popcorn like churro. When I arrived I scanned my ticket with the staff and headed to theater 3. I absolutely loved the old school vintage theme of the venue. Very unique and very reminiscent of Nighthawk theater in Brooklyn New York. But wayyyy better reclining seats. Our waitress was awesome. She provided excellent service. I wrote my order down on paper and pressed the service button. My pineapple cider beer and Royale burger fries arrived in less than 10 minutes. I kid you not. Everything was really good. I enjoyed the hot fries and pickle. The burger was very filling and well dressed. My only issues were how crowded the restroom lines were, the seats do not fully recline in back, the dining trays at our seats do not move to accommodate you when eating and they don't offer stadium seating. Seats are low. Other than these complaints, Alamo is a cool place to catch dinner and a movie.
What a cool theater. As someone that appreciates nostalgia and something different this is a great theater. Easy to navigate, people are friendly. Seating had no issues. Even seeing barbie on opening weekend being in the last row didn't even feel far. The seating is comfortable and having a dine in experience is nice to have available. Also having seating outside the theater is a nice perk before being able to go inside before the movie starts on nice night. More theaters should become more original in this day and age. I hope everyone checks it out for themselves to understand why it's unique and a nice find.
Such a cool place. The theater sizes are perfect. Not too big or too small. Always clean. The food is good and they have a lot of vegan options. I love that you can reserve your seats online and just go in and sit down without waiting in any kind of lines. The servers are nice and the on screen entertainment they play before the movies is really interesting. Can’t think of anything I would change.
