Bora Hotsparesort - Radolfzell

We enjoyed dinner after arrival and check in at the hotel, in a fine quality for moderate price! No wonder many guests come here from Switzerland. If we come back, we'll remember to return to this restaurant...

We had 2 enjoyable dinner night in this restaurant the food is a little bit higher compare to other local restaurants in the area, but it's worth the price, restaurant environment is nice and quiet, food are delicious, service is satisfying. We shall come again if we are around.

Some reviews seem to confuse Rubins restaurant at Bora Spa with the Biergarten. Both are excellent, but they are very different. Rubins is the hotel restaurant which offers fine dining. It is indoor, with a few outdoor tables weather permitting. The view of the lake from here is quite minimal. The food was innovative with creative use of edible flowers in some dishes. Everything was beautifully presented. I even found I could enjoy tripe! Service was friendly and helpful. The wonderful view of the lake is from the biergarten which shares a kitchen with the spa, and offers traditional fare – flammkuchen, schnitzel etc. – good stuff, but not fine dining. We ate here almost every day attracted by the view, friendly staff and atmosphere.

Just give it a try to whatever the menu offers you. don't be picky you'll be surprised! the fresh produce in the town is very good. the service is exceptionally good! the whole feeling and experience is very good. love the hotel and the town so much. hope to spend more time here if permits.

We ordered our food at 19.00 a.m., the main course came at 21.00 a.m. we have reserved 3 weeks before that evening (due time to prepare). we wanted to enjoy the evening, which was more than a fall. totally inflexible staff. the entire restaurant- to some guests who came after us- had their main dish in front of us!The waitress apologises with the words-- "they can't do anything for it" with us!!Very sorry that we have to make such a bad evaluation for such a beautiful location.
