Bidra med feedbackSaturday is market day in Rabastens, a very busy market, so we were surprised to join one other couple for lunchtime at 13.00. Another couple were turned away at 13.40 as the kitchen closes at 13.30.A small menu, a total of three starters and three mains including those on the lunchtime special. We had the warm goats cheese salad which was pleasantly served with plinenuts and balsamic vinegar. The lamb shank was good and the steak fine. Accompanying chips were piping hot from the fryer but rather soggy.The bread was excellent and the carafe of Galliac red wine very palatable.Friendly service, modest cost but not the outstanding meal that other reviewers have experienced
We struck lucky when we found this place. The menu gourmand at 21euros 90 was very good value for money. The restaurant is nicely done out and the serving staff charming. Would recommend.
