Bidra med feedbackDuring lunchtime, we stopped at this restaurant off of the 401 based on positive reviews. The establishment is located in a clean and friendly strip mall, offering a simple breakfast and lunch menu. I ordered pancakes and received exactly that - three pancakes on a plate with syrup. While I may not go out of my way to visit again, there are limited dining options near the highway. It is a good spot to enjoy a basic breakfast if you are in the area.
I was excited to go out for breakfast for the first time because of Covid19. I have been to Red's before and was happy with everything. Well, I was so disappointed that I will probably never go back. The service was very poor but the meal was adequate. Other people arrived after us but received their meal before us. There were no coffee fill-ups. Maybe this is the new normal. If so, that is why i was so disappointed.
Good diner breakfast offering, friendly service and good coffee.. the waitress was quick to correct an over hard to over easy as per order even before asked.
The restaurant offers tasty dishes at affordable prices, but the ambiance is more like a casual diner with tables placed closely together and simple decor. The Sunday brunch is a hit among customers, but it can get busy so there may be a wait for seating. However, keep in mind that on Sundays, the restaurant closes at 2 pm and starts cleaning up while customers are still finishing their meals.
Fast delivery of breakfast. Very delicious (had special- breakfast salad). Not far off 401 so worth the side trip. Realized we had stopped before and will definitely stop again!
