The View - Quincy

Definitely not what I was expecting based on the pictures. It's more a clubhouse for older men to have beers not an up scale brunch spot.Burger was good for the price point.

The View is now under new ownership with Billie Fraser at the helm. The previous friendly atmosphere that was associated with the restaurant has disappeared with the departure of former owner, Chris Carr. Customer satisfaction is no longer a priority for Billie; profits come first. He even refused to honor a $200 gift certificate that was purchased a year ago with no expiration date. The restaurant's glory days are now over with the absence of the beloved Chris Carr. It's a disappointing turn of events for the once esteemed establishment. It is recommended to take your business elsewhere, perhaps to Boston Butler or any other restaurant.

The party ran from 7-11pm, and we had access to the L-shaped outdoor space starting at 7pm. Two tables inside were separated by curtains, giving us a private area. We had a band providing background music from 7-9, and once other customers left around 8:45/9, we cleared the tables and turned the area into a dance floor. We also utilized the sliding glass doors to ensure safety measures during the event. Billy was great to work with in planning the menu, which included Italian vegetarian options and accommodations for two gluten-free 13-year-olds. We arranged the outdoor setup and used tablecloths and chair covers provided by the venue to elevate the space, resulting in a beautiful setting. We set up outdoor games like giant Connect 4 and badminton for the kids, ages 6 to 17, which were enjoyed from the patio. The food was excellent, with a custom menu prepared by Billy and Bill that included stuffed shells, artichoke salad, cheese and crackers, caprese skewers, Mediterranean dishes, and passed appetizers. Pizzas were also a hit, especially with the kids. The attentive and kind staff made the evening even more enjoyable, and overall, we had a wonderful experience at The View. I highly recommend this venue for hosting events, as it exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Great spot in Quincy to relax and enjoy a great drinks and meal. Love it !

The service is always excellent and the bar pizza is delicious! If you're hungry, make sure to order a whole pie just for yourself.
