Brasserie Du Centre - Quimper

Called into Brasserie du Centre following a shop at Carrefore Only stopped for drinks coffee was hot , tasty and only €1.50 I had a small Grimbergen Blonde which was served perfectly and was delicious The two ladies serving were helpful and professional

Service was good. The food was quite nice, but unfortunately everything was spoiled by a nasty surprise when it came to paying the bill. They offer a formule: entree plus plat du jour for 17,50 with a drink included. I chose this formule: salad and the dish of the day but did not want a drink as all they offered was perrier water, beer or wine. The waitress said it would be better for me to order a small salad starter and the main course individually because the formule price included the drink. This way, it would be a bit less to pay. I ordered the Salad Nicosie and plat du jour but she said to take a small chèvre salad and the plat du jour. I agreed and thanked her because it's not all the time someone tries to be kind and to save you money. When I got the bill though, I had been charged 7,90 for the small salad starter !!! lunchtime prices !!! and the normal 10,90 for the main dish. When I asked about this, the owner seemed to think this was right, to pay more for almost exactly the same dishes as the formule. Reluctantly and very begrudgingly she offered me 30 centimes back. So in the end I paid €18.80 less 30cts so 18.50 for two dishes that I wanted on the formule for just €17.50. I wish I'd just taken the drink offered rather than a carafe of normal water and saved myself €1 plus the embarrassment of having to dispute my bill in front of the owners regular customers.

This has a prime position however the service was dire when we visited, the service was slow, the staff disinterested and the food average, with so much competition in the area this place needs to up its game or it will not be around much longer..would not visit again, a very poor croque monsoire, uneatable raw burger, and soggy frites, the moules were ok but you cant really mess them up

A brasserie with much outdoor seating by the Market square. Average style sandwiches and bowls of chips . Good for a quick beer and a bite.

Nous avons pris à emporter 2 paellas. Vraiment super bonnes Un grand BRAVO aux cuisiniers. Paellas copieuses et bien assaisonnées. Un vrai plaisir merci beaucoup
