La Mer A Boire - Quiberon

What a cosy place with a great ambiance. The food -fish and oysters- in our case was incredible. Seafront view. The staff is so welcoming. Just perfect.

I can see why this mellow restaurant/bar is so highly rated. The welcome is warm and genuine, whether you are a regular or just passing through. The menu is brief, but well executed. Our fish and desserts were delightful. The atmosphere is informal but cozy. The coastal location is a bit out of the fray, but convenient. Street parking is limited and theoretically metered. From the queue, and the difficulty of reading the screen in the sun, the town would be better served with a more user friendly device for collecting their toll.

We spotted this restaurant whilst out for a stroll during the day, and popped in to book for the evening. Delightful friendly staff and great service throughout. A first course of simple, very good prawns with mayo got us off to a great start. Mains of fish and steak were equally delicious, all cooked to perfection and enhanced by the pleasant seafront position. Would definitely recommend and hope to return one day!
