Bidra med feedbackI'd say they're a lot better than their Matriarch resto which is Peach Blossoms along North Avenue which used to offer good Chinese food some decades ago. They're a neighborhood option, so I'm good with Tao Yuan. :
Tao Yuan by New Peach Blossoms is not your typical Chinese Restaurant. Normally when you picture a Chinese restaurant, it has..red walls.. gold linens... but this restaurant's wall are in baby blue.. baby pink and all that shabby chic look! It's really nice and cute! Their pancit is one of the best! It's really delicious. Also their fried chicken! I like it better without the sweet and sour sauce. But theres one thing that stucked in my head every time Tao Yuan comes around, their Malunggay Shake. It's so delicious and very healthy too!!!
While we waited for the food stalls in the box park, we stayed at the chimes square to pass the time. we believed this restaurant because I love sweet interiors, we decided to eat here. it was surprised to learn that it is a Chinese restaurant and they are connected to the peach blossom restaurant along the north avenue. space is small seats are available at the top. I think it can only accommodate about 20 30 people and they can also provide for events such as birthdays etc. as we are waiting for the box park to open, we have just ordered a slightly damped dump and spinat dumpling. our order took some time before it was served, they made it before spot. taste was good, but not the best dumplings I ever tasted. but they are very affordable. after eating in the box park we came back and ordered some dumplings to take home for our mother. I think the workers were happy to see us again, they even gave us free food (fish cracker) to munch while we wait for our order.
I absolutely love their Yang Chow rice! The salt and pepper substitutes are also quite good. The interior decor is a bit too sugary for my taste, but overall, the service is excellent. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be coming back!
Dining at Tao Yuan offers a delightful experience with delicious food in an inviting and inspiring atmosphere. The name "Tao Yuan," which translates to "Peach Garden," evokes a sense of beauty and vibrant colors. Located in Chimes Square on Congressional Avenue Extension, my grandmother and I chose to celebrate a belated birthday dinner for my godfather at Tao Yuan. The restaurant itself isn't very large, and the tables on the first floor were somewhat occupied. However, the friendly staff informed us that there were additional tables on the second floor. With their assistance, it was much easier for my grandmother to navigate the stairs.
