Starbucks Reserve - Quezon City

One of the busiest Starbucks as many students study here. They have limited brewing practices for single origin beans compared to the S Maison branch. I have been able to try the Rwanda Musasa (using the clover method), Nicaragua and Guatemala (both using the pour over method) here on several occasions. My favorite would be Guatemala with its strong tamarind notes, and I liked its flavor too. Baristas would just go about their business and may not be that friendly due to the amount of people or orders. It's a bit difficult to start a conversation with their baristas, especially if you want to learn more about beans of origin. They have a smaller area for reserve coffee and are somewhat restrictive compared to S Maison's counter. You have an extensive range of self-service goods. The place is spacious and has a large seating capacity with outdoor seating on the 2nd floor. They also have a meeting area or a private area for large groups, and communal tables are also available.

I have many fond memories in this Starbucks branch. Some painful, some melancholy. All of these things were made more dramatic by warm mugs of White Chocolate Mocha Lattes and cigarettes on the wide second floor porch. People around me aren't sure if I'm crying because of my predicament or if the coffee is just too good. Maybe it's both.

Not your usual SB. Great ambience. Great place to study. They have some food and drink that are not normally available in a normal self-service location and it's open late so it's really a great place to study
