China Garden - Québec

The hot and sour soup was really good. I also ordered the General Tso's chicken, which tasted good as well. However, the other two dishes, the peppercorn chicken and the sweet and sour pork, would have tasted better if they had been deep fried more.

Was not impressed. No buffet, ordered pineapple chicken balls (4 only) and rice but it came with macaroni noodles and a bowl of chicken broth (almost no chicken or noodles in it) will not be returning to this location.

Food is really good, but place was very understaffed and service was horrible! Would recommend for take out only.

This is a rare find in a city without a chinatown! It sits just at the northern section of the city. Most important of all is the authentic home style cantonese cooking that we found here with a little querry for the chinese menu! I...guess most local cacausians prefers chinese food thar are adapted to their taste, but this restaurant performs excellently when you ask them to have it in authentic style!...cheers to their chefs in this home run business!

As a Chinese, I believe it is quite authentic for Cantonese/Chinese food in Quebec City!!! Yes waiting time could be a bit long, but I rather having fresh cooked dishes than reheated ones! Also the price is lower than regular Asian restaurant in Quebec City....Tips : If you are going with you Chinese friends, ask for the Chinese menu ;
