La Casa Mexicana - Québec

La Casa Mexicana may not be on the streets of Old Quebec or the lively St. Jean or Grande Allee, but it's worth the trip. The small restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, with charming decor that imitates a town in Mexico and in the warm months, they have tables on the terrace. The dishes are prepared by Mexican chefs, at least that's what they say, with fresh local ingredients and others brought from Mexico, resulting in delicious food. In addition to nachos, tacos, churros, enchiladas, and other typical dishes, the menu also offers Mexican beers and drinks like mojitos and sangria with a nice presentation, and of course, tequilas. The restaurant is open every day and reservations are recommended.

Great mexican food! Authentic mexican fare and the plates are very filling for a very reasonable.

Wow, we discovered this restaurant last week, looking for a place to eat lunch in the area. I was very impressed by the quality of the food, and the explosion of flavours on every bites! The daily menu was very good and of a good price I thought for the quantity of food in your plate. The decoration is very nice and makes you feel in a warm country! The ambiance was a bit slow but it was only a Monday during lunch time.Can't believe I missed out on this place for the past years! I can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu!
