Casse-croÛte Pierrot - Québec

Genuine, not factory made pizza kruste, very good pizza would go back definitiw, had nothing else on the menu - a very small but good diner with a large fleet of vans.

My partner and I were staying in a downtown hotel and feeling hungry after a day of enjoying activities. The receptionist at our hotel suggested trying Casse-Croûte Pierrot, which was said to be popular and offered room delivery. However, our food arrived over half an hour after placing our order and unfortunately, none of it was edible. We ended up throwing everything away and opted to wait for breakfast the next morning. Our order included a cheeseburger, French fries, a club sandwich, and a slice of chocolate cake, but none of the items were palatable.

The pizza at this restaurant is outstanding, with thin slices of meat and cheese. The poutine is also really good, topped with canned gravy.

We asked the reception at our hotel for a pizza place that could deliver to our room since we were feeling tired and didn't want to go out. They recommended this restaurant and provided us with the menu. Unfortunately, I didn't check the TripAdvisor reviews beforehand, which was a mistake. I placed my order over the phone, and the person who took my order spoke English. I ordered Mozzarella sticks and a 12-cheese pizza with onions. The delivery service was efficient, and the food was delivered directly to my room. They got the order right and even included paperboard, plastic utensils, and napkins, which was a nice touch. The Mozzarella sticks were tasty and crispy, and it seemed like they were freshly made for my order. However, the pizza had a lot of cheese, but the crust was soggy and it was not cut into slices, making it difficult and messy to eat. Overall, the pizza was disappointing. It's surprising for a pizza place to get the pizza wrong. I appreciate the delivery service, but in terms of food quality, I would rate this place a 3 out of 5 for delivering but a 2 out of 5 for the food itself.

The food is mediocre. There are better places to eat and spend your money. The service is terrible and the waitstaff does not care about the customer. Don't go unless you're a local. Some of the people there are incredibly racist and will take advantage...of you if they think you don't speak French. Spend your money elsewhere!
