Came here with the family ende oktober. I had the grilled salmon and my two guests had the thunfish. the fish pieces were huge! absolutely wonderful meal, honestly one of the best I ever had and my guests said the same. To make it even better, was wein beautiful, the staff was beautiful and the overall place was dearly! we were even offered a small piece later. great, great, great!

We ate here twice for dinner during our two weeks stay in aug 2016. beautiful restaurant in a great location on the promenade. a nice relaxed atmosphere and service was very friendly and unmarried. Crabs and lobsters were exhibited in a tank, like the fresh fish on ice. I had the golden bream on the first visit, and the sea bass on our return trip. both were excellent. hausrot was also very nice. a nice touch of the waiter who gave us both a complementary glass harbour at the end of our second visit.

The number one restaurant that we went to in Europe . We travelled for 5.5months and covered Spain France Italy turkey England Switzerland Germany Greece etc eating out 95 percent of the time. The seafood cataplana was off the charts and the staff was A1...with there service and offering of general local information . The cost was on the higher side Portugal is cheap but worth every cent !!!!This is must try From Team New Zealand

We had the traditional cataplana with shellfish. Very good food for reasonable price. The waiter taught us alot about shellfish.

Our first fishing season since the arrival. the restaurant is friendly. come into the restaurant, you see the grill where you are cooked fish, very cozy. they are asked to get their fish. we have chosen sea bass. for beginners we had garnel in garlic. they were delicious and the sauce to dip the bread was beautiful. the sea bass from the bbq was excellent, cooked for perfection. the service was great. are simply negatiw they are not cards for payment, very surprising for such a busy restaurant. we're coming back.
