Girafas-Snack Bar - Quarteira

I would not recommend eating here unless almost starving to death. The pizza base was disgusting. Don’t waste your money.

Where do you start? In the midst of a worsening tourist season, post Covid, this seafront bar and restaurant remains at the forefront of mighty entertainment as well as great food. Regular singer Fernando belts out the numbers both in Portuguese and English while the...ever smiling waiter Renato's own entertainment contribution is to play air guitar, dance on the promenade benches and the otherwise unused floor area, much to everyone's delight. Sadly for their trade, many just stop outside and dance along, while the faithful, us included, sit at the socially distant tables and enjoy both the craic and the excellent food and drink. In difficult times, Giraffe is a joy. Location is perfect too, right on the beach. Highly recommended.

Stopped here while staying locally for something to eat, November so very quiet, served quickly and one of us had spaghetti and the other chicken fillet burger with garlic cheese bread that was amazing.drinks very reasonable priced. Enjoyed it so much we returned another evening.two...burgers with chips and two drinks €18.basic seating area but tasty food.

I am unsure why this place has had so many negative reviews. The food is amazing! This place has made our holiday even more special. The food is beautiful and the entertainment fabulous. If you don't believe me try it yourself. This is our go...to place for the rest of the holiday. The Portuguese here are so welcoming and get involved in entertaining the crowd. Highlight of Quarteira!!!

We called when we walked on the ball. I ordered chicken with fruits that I thought meant salate, but it wasn't fruit what I expected, but absolutely fresh, fantastic and such a choice. the chicken was cooked. my husband...had chicken with chips what he wanted and again, the chicken was nicely cooked and the chips cracked with a side salad. we had eaten, drinks and I had a very happy 20 euro!
